From the Wee Sea Folk collection. During their long journeys at sea, sailors would spend many an idle hour fashioning objects from whale ivory. The articles became known as scrimshaw and are the inspiration for Wee Sea Folk.

It is widely known that whaleships were well populated with mice. The ship Peapod was no exception, having many an able-bodied mouse in its crew. In celebration of those hearty sailors, we present this collection.

The sailors names are taken from actual crew lists!
