He’s quite proud of himself, isn’t he? He’s the strongest male with the
largest tusks and therefore he dominates his social group and that
would certainly make any walrus proud on a given day. However, his
pleased bearing goes beyond his stature within his group; rather, he is
very aware of the captivating way the artists at Herend have painted
him. Combining gold, platinum and copper fishnet for the first time,
the walrus appears to be reflecting back a sunny day on the shores of
his icy arctic home.
