Three stacked bubbles suspended over a chequered base.

Details

Crafting Method: The three bubbles are blown up with compressed air in three separate layers of glass, once all bubbles have been formed the whole piece is covered in molten glass from the furnace and then the thin strips of colour are picked up on the base and melted in. Shimmering sand is then melted in below the strips of colour and more clear glass dropped on to encase the sand and colour inside. Once cool the 4 large facets are ground and polished using diamond embedded wheels and discs.
